We are a small-scale, creative and pragmatic architectural company located in Portsmouth, Hampshire. We specialise in modern, thoughtful and sensitive design, and have experience across a range of sectors and building types. We are perhaps best known for our unique residential and workplace developments across the south coast. We work closely with clients, local communities, consultants and contractors, responding to their needs and aspirations and respecting each project’s unique social, economic, historical and environmental context.

We believe that quality architecture is created through a collaborative process. We will ensure that your project benefits from the collective skills and experience of our team. We offer our personal involvement in every stage of the project; from your vision at the outset, to the completion and use of the building. Being entrusted with the design and delivery of your home, workspace or community building is a responsibility that we do not take lightly. The global environmental emergency deeply motivates us, as a practice, to discover and innovate sustainable solutions to buildings. The emphasis placed upon sustainability is one of the reasons that you have to choose our practice. We believe that we are well placed to design and deliver environmentally considerate and responsive buildings.

We are also big believers in building beautiful. We specialise in creating beautiful junctions and details with a careful and sustainable approach to materials.

Architects / Technologist Services

Our talented team is here to support and offer you their creative ideas. We will ensure that your project benefits from the collective skills and experience of our team. We offer our personal involvement in every stage of the project; from your vision at the outset, to the completion and use of the building. We strive to create buildings and spaces that meet our client’s needs, develop a sense of community, and transform our environment. We offer to clients a full range of architectural design services, from concept through construction. Our firm includes experts in sustainable design, code compliance, contract administration, and building information modeling who contribute to our projects and create a truly collaborative process.

Planning Permission Services

Planning is complex and no one can guarantee planning permission, but our practice is here for you. We set out an approach to this challenge that works with the realities of a complex planning system. We developed our six-step sequential model of planning system, which incorporates safeguards for many of the pitfalls and failings of typical planning application. Our rigorously tested system allows us to specialise in crafting creative planning application strategies.

Interiors

Along with the exterior aesthetic our buildings create, we strive to create interior architecture that adds value to the building and experience within each space. Beyond selecting colours, lighting and furniture, we see our role as imagining how people will interact with and be affected by a space, and how we can enrich their time in it. Our firm offers full-service interior design, lighting design, and furniture, fixture & equipment (FF&E) procurement.

Our Marketing & Branding Strategy

Marketing strategy is essential for forming relationships, procuring prospective work and recruitment. MORPHOGENESIS is a multi-disciplinary firm based on Values, created by experienced individuals from a range of backgrounds. Our team is committed, passionate and depends on the reputation of the practice for survival and success. Effective public relations can have a powerful impact over business.

Our marketing strategy evolves around sustainability and affordability (low cost) but reaching out to maximum audiences with some strategy and plans, such as having a strong social media presence and well-functioning website. Our practice initially started with two members, keeping cost to minimum and to establish and evolve further with five members by second year.

Our colour theme is consistent throughout all media platforms (Website / Instagram), which is green, grey and white. The theme helps to embody our ethos of sustainable and eco-architecture as green is often associated with nature. The consistency throughout all media platforms makes our brand easily and always recognisable.
